According to Mack Trucks, nearly 2,400 fans participated in voting to select the final wrap design. The winning graphics feature a red, white, and blue theme along with emblems representing all six branches of the U.S. military, giving fans a direct role in choosing how the trucks would appear throughout the 2026 season.

Fans Chose the Design

Instead of selecting the design internally, Mack opened the decision to fans. The chosen wrap highlights the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force while incorporating patriotic colors that will be displayed on trucks traveling with NASCAR equipment from race to race.

The fan vote was part of Mack’s support of NASCAR Salutes, which returns each year as one of the sport’s military appreciation initiatives.

Three Trucks Added to the Program

The special graphics appear on three Mack Pioneer sleeper trucks operating within NASCAR’s transportation fleet. Those vehicles are among 11 Mack Pioneer sleeper models recently added to NASCAR’s lineup of haulers.

As NASCAR’s Official Hauler, Mack provides trucks used to move equipment needed throughout the race season. The three wrapped Pioneer models combine that role with this year’s military recognition effort.

Trucks Scheduled to Appear Throughout the Season

Following their debut as part of NASCAR Salutes activities, the trucks are expected to continue appearing at events throughout the season.

Mack Trucks said fans will have an opportunity to see the vehicles during race weekend activities at Pocono Raceway on June 13, with additional appearances planned as the NASCAR schedule continues.

The American Truck Historical Society plans to award a pair of VIP NASCAR Cup Series tickets during its Awards Banquet on June 5 as part of a fundraising raffle held throughout the organization’s National Convention and Truck Show.

The winner will receive two VIP tickets to the Sept. 27 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway. Raffle tickets are available for $5 each, with proceeds supporting ATHS’s Building Maintenance Campaign.

For anyone attending the convention and still considering entering, time is running short. The drawing takes place Friday evening.

A Busy Week in Springfield

The convention opened earlier this week at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and continues through June 6, bringing together truck owners, drivers, collectors, and industry enthusiasts from across the country.

Rows of restored classics, rare trucks, and historic working equipment have filled the grounds as attendees spend the week exploring exhibits, demonstrations, vendor displays, and trucking memorabilia. The event also includes an evening light show that has become a popular attraction for visitors.

This year’s gathering carries added significance because Route 66 is celebrating its centennial in 2026. Springfield’s deep connection to the historic highway helped make it a natural choice for this year’s event.

ATHS noted that the city provides a fitting backdrop for a convention focused on preserving and celebrating trucking’s history.

More Than A NASCAR Prize

While the raffle winner will walk away with a NASCAR experience, the fundraiser itself supports a larger effort.

According to ATHS, proceeds will help preserve the society’s headquarters and support its mission for future generations. The organization has spent decades documenting trucking history and highlighting the people, equipment, and milestones that helped shape the industry.

The raffle gives attendees an opportunity to support that mission while also taking a shot at a trip to Kansas Speedway later this year.

Advance registration for the convention has already closed, but on-site registration remains available. Daily spectator admission costs $15 for ATHS members and $20 for non-members. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.

Designed to reflect the essence of team spirit, the sculptures take the form of football helmets inspired by each university. These artistic endeavors are crafted from Goodyear’s latest tire innovation—the Assurance WeatherReady 2—illustrating the company’s focus on all-season reliability, performance, and durability.

Fans attending the game on January 10 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will have the opportunity to view these stunning sculptures up close and capture memorable photos.

Goodyear isn’t stopping at tire art. At the 2025 Cotton Bowl Classic, fans will be invited to explore a state-of-the-art Goodyear Mobile tire installation van. This on-site activation allows attendees to learn about Goodyear’s convenient tire installation services and the Assurance WeatherReady 2—an all-season tire delivering exceptional wet performance, durability, and traction.

“We are appreciative to NASCAR and Pilot Flying J for including Schneider in a memorable week and creating an opportunity to thank our drivers for their hard work and commitment to safety,” said Rob Reich, Schneider’s executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

Schneider’s Advantage Club celebrates the accomplishments of drivers who have been with the company for a minimum of three years and have demonstrated a clean safety and performance record. The goal of the group is to honor these drivers and thank them for doing one of the most demanding jobs in the organization.
